According to their habitat, the most recommended sites for bird-watching are in the south of the country , the rift valley lakes and the lowlands. Wondo genet, Sof Omar Cave, Bale mountain national park and the road south through the senetai plateau and the Harenna forest to Negele borona, Yabello to mega , Konso and turmi and Nechsar National park. The lakes region And the highland Abyssinia plateau, Alyu Amba, in the north ,Debre Libanos, Jemma and Jara valley escarpment north west of Addis Abeba, Ankober mountain range ,in the east the Awash National park, and Bilen .birding Sites around the capital addis abeba include Entoto, Gefersa, Sululta wet land and plane, Debre Zeit and Menagesha forest.

Arrive in Addis Ababa welcomed at the airport in Addis Abeba by one of our professional bird guide then transfer to your hotel.

Day 2-Ankober

Morning, drive to Ankober the ancient capital of Ethiopia then explore the areas for the specific birds.

Day 3-Debrezeit

Early morning, bird watching in Ankober then drive to Debrezeit.

Day 4-Awash national park

Morning, explore the aquatic birds in Debrezeit then drive awash national park.

Overnight : camping

Day 5-Awash parc

Full day, excursion in Awash national park.

Overnight : camping

Day 6-Langano

Morning game drive in Awash national park- then drive direction to Langano on the way to stop over in the rift valley lakes of ziway rich in aquatic birds.

Day 7-Yirgalem

Morning, game drive in abijata-shalla national park home of mammals and aquatic birds

Afternoon, excursion boat tripe in Lake Hawasa to see the colonies of hippopotamus, then drive to Yirgalem the best coffee land in Ethiopia.

Day 8-Yabello

Early morning, drive to Yabello on the way to visit the steals of tutifela then continue driving to Yabello.

Full day, explore some of the endemic birds in Yabello.

Morning, explore Yabello sanctuary afternoon drive to Arbaminch.
